For over five decades, Moraal Holding had built a strong reputation across construction, real estate, healthcare, and hospitality. But as the company evolved, its ambition began to outgrow its identity.

The leadership team approached Yellow with clear mandates, we had to rename Moraal Holding to reflect its future vision, develop a modern brand identity for the holding company and create clarity across multiple verticals and subsidiaries through a brand architecture system.

This was not simply a rebrand. It was a generational shift – from legacy operator to future-focused holding group.

The approach

Given the company’s breadth of verticals and its long-standing regional presence, we anchored the brand around a powerful duality: Future, Present. It positioned the company as grounded yet forward-looking – a holding group that respects legacy while actively shaping tomorrow.

The new name too needed to carry weight, credibility and longevity. We rooted the name MRBF in the initials of the founder thus creating a name that honored its origins while modernizing its expression.

The emblem too was carefully developed to communicate regional pride through the reference to the national bird, showcased strength and leadership and the overseeing nature of a holding company.

The visual identity system balanced authority with refinement, allowing it to sit confidently across the different verticals it represents, but also amongst other family office holding companies.

With multiple verticals and entities under its umbrella, clarity was critical. Thus, we developed a hybrid brand architecture model, ensuring we showcased a strong endorsement from MRBF Holding, but with the flexibility for strategic independence where required or in the case of acquisitions. This framework brought structure to a complex portfolio, aligning vision, positioning and naming conventions across the group.

The result

The transformation went beyond aesthetics.By redefining the holding company and structuring its architecture, we helped MRBF Holding establish a cohesive corporate identity across sectors, clarify internal roles and future strategic direction, strengthen its employer brand and attract high-quality talent, present a unified face to investors and partners and create a scalable platform for long-term expansion and growth.

From Moraal Holding to MRBF Holding, the evolution reflects not just a new name – but a new era for the company.
